Ora Animal Feeds came to life in 2000 when the founder, Esther Burman, was approached by her son who was exporting game to the Middle East at that time. He was looking for a suitable feed mix to supply with the exporting of the game.
Ora’s animal feeds have been thoroughly and patiently tested by game farmers in the Limpopo area. According to the game farmers, Ora’s feed was consumed before other rations.
Ora Animal Feeds currently manufactures a wide range of game feeds, including elephant, sable, giraffe and buffalo feeds, as well as a range of feeds for domestic animals, such as horses, chickens, dairy cows and pigs. As an additional service they also provide drought meal and a calf grower ration.
All Ora animal feeds are balanced and formulated by a qualified nutritionist and made with the finest vitamin and mineral premixes. After intensive research by the Agricultural Research Council of South Africa (ARC) in Irene, Roodeplaat and Onderstepoort, as well as a group of veterinarians and experienced farmers, Ora Animal Feeds are now the proud suppliers of a wide range of twelve animal feeds.
All our products are maize free. By using only the freshest ingredients, recipes professionally formulated and vitamin and mineral premixes formulated from Switzerland, we can safely say that our animal feed is the best in the Lowveld.
We offer personalized animal feeds that means that we can add or remove ingredients according to your requirements. We add dried citrus pulp for the ascorbic acid properties and its palatability. Our feed is made to order and we use only the finest and freshest ingredients.
